On 11 January 2021, Oman celebrated the first anniversary of its renewed Renaissance under the transformational leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik.

A number of well thought-out measures and policies are currently being implemented. As a stepping stone to the goals of the ambitious Oman Vision 2040, this year’s budget plan seeks to stimulate economic activity, raise the efficiency of public finance management and rationalise public spending. The Sultanate’s measures for economic diversification continues to bear fruit with non-oil income now expected to reach OMR 3.2 billion or about 37% of the total revenues in 2021.

Providingmomentum to a new beginning this year, bank muscatlaunched the new Al Mazyona Savings Scheme 2021, the biggest savings scheme in the Sultanate, offering a record 7,470 prizes and over OMR 11 million in prize money to customers across Oman.Importantly, prizes worth OMR 5.6 million have been reserved for our Asalah and Al Jawhar customers this year.
