Ghaytuh entrepreneur training programme launched

Oman Oil Company’s innovative entrepreneurship training programme, titled ‘Ghaytuh’, was launched on January 28, 2018 at the Career Guidance Centre with the participation of more than 50 students, hailing from around the Sultanate. Also taking part were students from Al Amal School for the Hearing Impaired.

Ghaytuh -- the product of a collaborative arrangement between Oman Oil Company and the Career Guidance Centre – is currently in its fifth year. The programme is designed to enable participants to harness their full potential, learn basic entrepreneurial skills, and develop the necessary competencies to run a business. During the five-day training programme, the participants attend workshops on theoretical marketing concepts and other topics moderated by established entrepreneurs.

The underlying objective behind Ghaytuh is to encourage the participants to explore entrepreneurship as a pathway to a promising livelihood as a self-employed businessperson.
