Formed in 2005, Meras is a reputed Omani firm that began operations as a service provider in the oil and gas sector. Since then, in response to rising demands, we have restructured ourselves to offer benchmark setting Engineering, Construction and Project Management Services.
Combining a disciplined process that is the product of the extensive expertise and skill sets of our highly experienced team we aim to provide services that go above and beyond expectations. Every project is treated as it should be – a new task with special requirements and therefore we innovate and customize every working plan. Ambitious. If I had to use one word to describe what we are that would be it. At Meras we are eager to seize opportunities to prove our capabilities and deliver levels of service that companies with a far longer history would envy.
So what does it take to chase this ambition? For us it always begins with people and relationships. It’s about attracting and retaining the best talent through mutual respect and understanding. It’s about building a team that works as a single unit. And it’s about treating every project like a relationship rather than a job so our clients understand that we are as much invested in their success as they are. This approach has led to us starting projects with a mandate for Pre-construction work and then having our scope of services extended to cover the entire Project Management once we’ve proved what we are made of.
The ability to innovate and the flexibility to operate within proven processes while still being able to create new solutions is another facet of ours that gives us a leading edge. Every project we take on enjoys the expertise and skills that our experience brings aboard and yet it is looked at afresh as we don’t believe that template solutions serve our industry well.

With a core team of professionals who have come from the construction industry a lot of us have worked together at leading firms as project manager and project director on some very prestigious projects. These include Majlis Oman, the Muscat International Airport, The Wave Retail Centre, the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, the Kempinski Hotel & Apartments, etc.
