Based in the Middle East for over 35 years. Present studio base Dubai. Initially inspired by the complexity and repetition of imagery within Islamic art and design systems. Developed into a study of symbolism within the cultural, textile and olfactory heritage of the region, specifically woman’s studies and the significance of dress and adornment. Presently advising on art and design projects related to significance of regional objects.

Elected Fellow of Royal Society of Arts London UK, FRSA, Advisory board of American University of Dubai (AUD), Elected member IAPA UNESCO and EFAS, UAE. Ambassador for Dubai Design District D3.

Exhibited at the Worlds Congress of Women Beijing, United Nations New York, British Museum London, Carousel De Louvre Paris, DIFC Dubai, Cultural Foundation of Abu Dhabi, Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, Alexandria National Library Eygpt, and National Museums of Sharjah, Jordan, Kuwait, Egypt and Oman. Represented UK at the Cairo, Sharjah and Alexandria Biennials. British Council commission to create a performance work for state visit of HM the Queen. UAE State visit 2010. Honored to include Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, HM Sultan Qaboos Al Said, HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, HH Sheikha Paula Al Sabah, HH Sheikh Majid Al Sabah, Ramil Salsali, Beatrice Bulgari amongst her patrons. Public collections include British Museum, British Council, Royal Commonwealth Society, and Sainsbury Foundation. Middle East collections include the Al Sabah Collection, Kuwait, DIFC Dubai, Salsali Private Museum, Dubai GMAA Oman, and National Collections of the UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan.
